Our Admissions Coordinator will process your referrals to Select Specialty Hospital - Wichita quickly and efficiently. An on-site evaluation of the patient will be completed by a Clinical Liaison within hours of the referral. The Clinical Liaison is your personal contact to Select Specialty Hospital. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the services we provide. Once an admission decision has been determined, the patient can often transfer the same day.

Medical Director

Dr. Alan J. Feary has served as Medical Director for Select Speciality Hospital, Wichita Kansas, since May of 2000.

He graduated from the University of Kansas in 1978. In 1981, Dr. Alan completed his residency at the University of Kansas, which is affiliated with Wichita hospitals.

Dr. Alan is certified in Internal Medicine. He has also served in the United States Air Force.

Community News

In November of 2008, Select Specialty Hospital - Wichita hosted this year's annual Kansas Hospital Association Convention and Trade Show at the Hyatt Regency Century II Convention Center. Select Speciality Hospitals of Wichita, Overland Park and Topeka are excited about their opportunity to participate in this year's event by sponsoring a booth and being available to interact and exchange ideas with Kansas Hospital Association members.
